Shopping in Shanghai

I went to Shanghai yesterday afternoon to do some shopping and have some dinner. My friends and I went to a large market that is underground the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. The vendors there are very enthusiastic and are quite vocal. Driving into Shanghai is always an amazing sight with all of the construction that is constantly occurring. After doing some shopping we went to a good Brazilian restaurant called the Latina. The food was quite good and we actually got to watch the end of a baseball game.

You see cranes all over the place.

Good Food and Friends

I have been to some really good restaurants in Nanqiao and Shanghai over the last few days. There is an excellent Korean restaurant here in Nanqiao that has an awesome kim-chee soup. A restaurant in Shanghai called Ding Tai Fun has the best dumplings I have ever had in my life. My chinese comprehension is coming along slowly. It is a very difiicult language to learn for english ears. Here are a few pictures of my fellow workers:

Have a great day everyone!

Hello Everybody!

I just wanted set up a blog to let everyone know whats going on with me, since I have started a new job that frequently takes me out of the country. Over the last few months I have traveled to Nanqiao, China and Sasso Marconi, Italy. I am currently in Nanqiao again which is about 45 minutes drive south of Shanghai. China is a very interesting place that is a blend of the new and old world. Here are a few pictures from my first trip to Nanqiao:

Italy was beautiful and the food was amazing. Sasso Marconi is about a 30 minute train ride from Bologna. Here are a few pictures from that trip:
